The Divisions of Planning, Development Services, and Building Safety were combined to form the Department of Planning and Development Services. Integrating these important and closely related functions of County government allows our citizens and business community a more coordinated and streamlined structure when doing business. The department is responsible for managing all aspects of the development process, zoning codes and compliance, and permits and inspections.
