York residents may drop off their personal yard waste at no charge.
All collections are open to the residents of Williamsburg, James City County, York County, Hampton and Poquoson. Proof of residency may be required.
Free, on-site shredding services will also be provided to residents who want to securely shred their personal documents at the York County events on the following dates in 2026:
- March 14
- May 9
- September 12
- November 14
