For the third time since its inception in 2019, York County’s ever-popular Business Growth Grant program has been replenished. The Economic Development Authority approved an additional $50,000 for the nearly depleted program.
Matching grants up to $2,500 are once again available to both home-based and commercial businesses in the County looking to purchase new equipment, supplies, marketing or other items that will enhance their offerings and help grow their business. The program covers everything from property improvements to moving costs, as well as wish list items even home-based businesses might have, such as purchasing a new computer, buying a new work vehicle, placing advertisements or investing in a new tool or piece of equipment. The County hopes to use this latest round of funding to help local small businesses that could use a boost. Interested companies can review the program qualifications and apply for funds online.
