INCENTIVE GUIDELINES

  • No minimum grant amount
  • Maximum grant amount is typically equal to 30 months tax impact
  • Grants may require Board of Supervisors approval
  • Staff to use their discretion as to when to use the HRPDC fiscal models to evaluate incentive requests
  • Incentives require a performance agreement, which may include claw back provisions
  • Business cannot be in default or non-compliance with any county programs, ordinances, or taxes
