To file a claim, please contact Risk Management at 757-890-3734. You will need to provide details of the incident including how the damage occurred, date and time of the incident, and if possible, cost of repair. After you contact Risk Management to report a claim, a claim is filed with the County’s insurance carrier. Once the insurance claim is set up, the insurance adjuster will contact all parties involved to assist them in making a liability decision.Fiscal Accounting Services - Risk Management

If you become injured or ill on the job, you should immediately notify your immediate supervisor. He or she will then assist you with filling out the necessary paperwork. Once your paperwork is complete it should be sent to Risk Management.
