Starting Saturday, October 19th and going for six – eight weeks, the York County Transfer Station will be closed to the public for repairs. The Citizen dropoff area for trash disposal will also close at noon on Saturday, then is expected to reopen on Monday, October 21st and remain open for residential use only; the remainder of the facility, including recycling dropoff area, metal recycling and VPPSA Composting Facility will be open under normal operations.
