The Friends of the York County Library are searching for enthusiastic leaders to bring inspiring programs, books, and resources to our community. Your passion and ideas can make a big impact!
We are currently recruiting board of director members. Board positions include: President, Vice-President, and Treasurer. Board members will provide expert advice and leadership to promote the mission of the Friends of the Library and support awareness, public engagement, and fundraising.
Board Member Expectations:
- Attend quarterly board meetings
- Contribute to fundraising and membership goals
- Contribute to strategic planning, marketing, and communication

Friends of the Library Mission
The Friends of the Library Foundation supports the York County Public Library by increasing public awareness about the library and its importance to the community. The Foundation raises funds through gifts and bequests to enhance programs, services, and facilities. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
