Youth Basketball

Registration Dates

Extended until November 30 or full

*Waitlist - How it works

If a spot becomes available on a team, we will pull from the waitlist in the order registered for the waitlist. We will send an email to the email address on file. You will be given a time frame to reply. If you do not respond within that time frame, you will stay on the waitlist, but we will offer the spot to the next person. Once you have accepted the spot, you will have 24 hours to pay the balance or be placed back on the waitlist at the bottom.

Eligibility

York County and non-county residents aged 7-16 as of September 30, 2023, may participate. Children currently trying out for a school sports team are encouraged to register. Refunds will be given to those children who make the school team.

Age Grouped Leagues (ages 7-16)

The leagues will be broken down as follows - 8 & Under Girls (8u); 8 & Under Boys (8u); 10 & Under Girls (10u); 10 & Under Boys (10u); 13 & Under Boys (13u); 16 & Under Boys (16u).  Players will be assigned to a league based on their age as of September 30, 2023. This is the same date the schools use to determine "school age."

Example: Even though a child may have turned 11 years old on October 1, their league age for winter basketball would be 10 years since that was their age this past September 30. As a result, they would register to play in the 10u Winter Basketball League.
Note: Children aged 7 years old may be registered in either the 8u Winter Basketball League OR the "Start Smart" Instructional Program described below.
