There are several ways to pay your Treasurer bill. Please make checks payable to: Treasurer, County of York.
Business License, Consumer/Excise Taxes, Dog Tags, Personal Property Taxes, Vehicle Registrations, Real Estate Taxes and York County Utility Bills may be paid with an Electronic Check, Visa or MasterCard.
For timely and accurately posted payments, do not use bill pay offered by your bank.
Due to security and fraud concerns, payments from services such as Venmo, Doxo, Zelle, Anybill, and other online payment platforms that require electronic acceptance of payments by York County via an email link, are not accepted. In order to use these type of payment platforms, the payment platform will need to send a check to York County.
Tax Pay My Way Program
The Tax Pay My Way Program lets citizens have payments automatically deducted from their bank account once per month eight times per year for personal property taxes (including vehicle registrations) and/or real estate taxes. These payments are applied to your first half and second half semi-annual tax bills to reduce the amount due on the due dates.
Smart Pay is a program that allows for a personal or business checking account to be debited on the due date to pay York County utility bills.
If your payment is returned unpaid, you also authorize us to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account to collect a fee of $35.
