From seasonal produce and fresh baked goods to exquisite glassware and handmade soaps, there is something for everyone! The free, accessible Yorktown Trolley will be in operation beginning at 10 a.m. during this event.

Lord Dunmore

Relive Lord Dunmore’s Campaign & Salute Our Heroes in Historic Yorktown
Lord Dunmore – He’s the man the colonists loved to hate. Join us from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, and Sunday, June 8, for a look back at the controversial British leader during the 250th Anniversary of his Virginia Campaign. The weekend will be filled with reenactments, musical performances, and family-friendly activities. The VA250 Mobile Museum will be open to the public for free tours from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown. In addition, we’ll offer a patriotic salute to our Armed Forces, celebrating the contributions of our American heroes — both past and present — as part of Military Appreciation Weekend. It’s a weekend you don’t want to miss in Historic Yorktown!

Sounds of Summer Concert Series

En’Novation Lights Up Sounds of Summer
Great music? Check! Great venue? Check! Great crowd? Check! Join us from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, for another Sounds of Summer Concert at Riverwalk Landing with  En’Novation. This energetic and experienced eight-piece band performs songs from Motown, Billy Joel, Whitney Houston, Nat King Cole, and more. The complimentary Yorktown Trolley runs from 5 to 9:30 p.m. during every concert with a modified route that still includes some of the stops on the outskirts of town.

Free Fishing Days this Weekend!
This weekend (June 6-8) you do not need a fishing license to drop a line in the water. Spend some free fishing time at Back Creek Park, Rodgers A. Smith Boat Landing, New Quarter Park, and Old Wormley Creek Landing. And remember, the Yorktown Fishing Pier is always free to fish because the County holds the pier’s fishing license. Don’t forget: Recycle your fishing line! Collection bins are available at Back Creek Park, Rodgers A. Smith Landing, and the Yorktown Pier.
