When you start a new business and apply for a business license, we will list your new business name the County's Economic Development homepage. This is free publicity for you, and it allows citizens to see what new businesses have recently opened. You can also submit news stories about your company to be posted on this site.
Local Chambers of Commerce
There are five local Chambers of Commerce that serve York County. These organizations are here to serve the local business community. Each offers numerous events, activities, sponsorship, advertising, networking, and educational opportunities to its members, all of which are excellent ways to market your business. Examples include monthly business-after-hours networking events, golf tournament sponsorship opportunities, BNI business networking groups, referral groups, discount coupon programs for other Chamber members, and much more.
