This is free publicity for you, and it allows citizens to see what new businesses have recently opened. There are four local Chambers of Commerce that serve York County. These organizations are here to serve the local business community. Each offers numerous events, activities, sponsorship, advertising, networking, and educational opportunities to its members, all of which are excellent ways to market your business. Examples include monthly business-after-hours networking events, golf tournament sponsorship opportunities, BNI business networking groups, referral groups, discount coupon programs for other Chamber members, and much more. The Retail Alliance
The Retail Alliance is committed to strengthening the retail community in Hampton Roads. They provide many benefits to members through education, advocacy, and products & services. Programs such as LOVEVA Buy Local Initiative and the Center for Retail Excellence education series are invaluable resources to local businesses. We have matching grants for both programs, so it's even more affordable to invest in your business!
